I really should be writing my PACT right now but I had to take a breather. I'm making some progress on it. Can't wait for this to be over! Just a few more weeks and the program will be done. My has time flown by...It'll be nice to do nothing and sleep. But I'll miss my students dearly. There's always that trade off.

In other news..ie APO - we are almost there to a full eboard. We're still missing an Alumni Sec because initially we were missing a President. The Alumni Sec turned out to be the new prez, so we have to open up her position now to the rest of the general body again. At least Officer's Retreat went well. I was quite impressed at how efficient the day went. The advisors did a good job - pat on the back for all of us. And thanks to Kent...we got to go moonlight kayaking . Good times I tell yah!

There are a few individuals that I can just sit with and just their presence eases my mind. If only those individuals were here now. I miss you guys. And in particular - I miss a specific someone because I know that I am well taken care when we are together.

Wow...it's been quite some time since I've touched this. I guess it's because I've been super swamped with school. I am currently on "spring break" but of course I still have lots of homework and planning that needs to be done. My 5th graders this semester are awesome and so's my guide teacher. I just have another 2 months (prob less) to go and if nothing goes wrong, I should be done.

In other news - lots has happened in regards to APO. The new class (AI) is about to activate in a week. There goes another quarter of pledging. Albert and I were officially named advisors at the beginning of this past winter quarter. We've certainly been busy with that. There has been some craziness but all in all - it's just the usual. It'll be good to see everyone after spring break ends.

Well - back to the homework. Some things never change...

It's been quite some time since I've updated and well...with good reason. The credential program/student teaching is to say the least - killing me. Not only am I doing homework for my own classes but also lesson planning and tweaking things left and right for the kiddies as well. Last weekend I also finished taking the last math CSET (again) and I'm hoping the results will swing my way so I will never have to take them again. Props to Will, cuz we put in some crazy cram sessions - esp the last one on Halloween.

Some good news...I've got two new line kiddies in Alpha Theta Class. Super stoked cuz they're great kids with lots of enthusiasm and love for the things that they do.

Well ... it looks like I'm a bit behind in the updating. I've been in the program for I think 6 weeks. Things have been getting more hectic but having a great block has helped tremendously. Let's see for week 5...Subtest I is over for the Math CSET. I think I did all right on it *crossing fingers*. The last time I said that - things didn't go my way so I'm really hoping for some good news. Round 2 will be in Nov - rawr! Our shared expertise this week was music/movement and I had such a good time dancing with my class. You really can't be a downer after an hour's worth of happy music and silly dances. I'm really happy that our block got together on Friday to grub and enjoy each other's company @ Joe's Crab Shack. After that I went to Alpha Delta's BBQ for their last rush event. Got to meet some of the rushees and of course catch up with old friends. Pam and I ended up making our green onion pancakes at her place in the evening. We did quite well considering that it was Pam's first time. I also got to scrapbook with Sara and eat out with my family for dinner.

Week 6...There were assignments due everywhere, but of course was expected. We had things here and there that prob drove everyone crazy. I made sure to unwind with some time with my classmates last night. A couple of us went to On the Border for dinner and then we went to watch SDSU's hockey play against USC. We ended up winning 3-1 and I must say...USC's goalie was phenomenal. Letting in only 3 goals on 54 shots is pretty darn good. Jano played well and I was def glad that I could go and support. I plan to make myself a regular at games just cuz I really do miss watching live hockey and it's always nice to watch a friend play. Went to Bonitafest with Mike today and run into a couple of peeps - Ms. Cornell, Eldridge, Megan and Daniel. The event is shrinking big time as the years go on. If it weren't for the kettlecorn - I prob wouldn't even be that excited anymore. Tomorrow's Rho Pi's first GBM of the year. Can't wait to see some peeps again - I've missed my line kiddies so it'll be nice to go back.
